Earth Day 2010 Festival
Wee Eco Group is proud to be the organizer of the the 40th Global Earth Day Celebrations with the Subic Bay Earth Day Festival, a 4-day program running April 22nd to 25th.
The event will showcase Philippine Heritage artwork from a variety of native and ex-patriot foreigner Filipinos such as renowned Australian artist Janet Eason who now lives in Sagada. Also on show will be bio-dynamic and organic food growers and suppliers.
Entertainment will come from local musicians and DJ's with interactive static displays courtesy of a skate board display group, horse ranch and the SBMA Fire Department just to name a few.
Important eco-organizations such as our local animal rescue group will also have displays on hand to educate visitors on important local issues.
There is even a bikini fashion show to display just how sexy eco-awareness can be!
The festival will be held along the Subic Bay waterfront with major activities held both at Lighthouse Hotel and the Boardwalk Stage Area. Due to the daytime heat the event will be a late afternoon starter kicking of at 3pm on the 22nd to 24th with the final day on the 25th being an all day event from 9am.
Food and water will be available for purchase as will souvenir Earth Day t-shirts so bring the family for a great time out celebrating Earth Day in Subic Bay.
